Viviana Meschitti is a Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of Huddersfield (UK). Previously she worked at Birkbeck (University of London) for the EU-funded project TRIGGER about gender equality in science, and at the University of Lugano (Switzerland) for the Equal Opportunities Service; she obtained her PhD at the same university. Her research topics include gender differences along career trajectories, organisational and team learning and communities of practice. She has a long experience of designing and coordinating mentoring programmes for women, and participating in the preparation of gender equality plans, both in Switzerland and in the UK. She is editorial board member of the Journal of Research in Gender Studies.
