Marina Cacace


Marina Cacace, founding member of ASDO, a not-for-profit research institute devoted to gender issues, has carried out several research projects on the different forms of women’s occupational segregation, women’s leadership, women in urban environments, the reconciliation of professional and family life, women in science and in the medical professions. She directed the ASDO team for the PRAGES project and authored the final Guidelines. She coordinates the team of ASDO for the STAGES project, encompassing technical assistance and monitoring, as well as an accompanying research study on the development of the five Gender Action Plans. She is member of the ASDO team for the TRIGGER project. She led research in the European project “Women in Politics”. She also studied the dynamics of young women’s identification and involvement with feminism and the women’s movement
